Coordinates youth programs at the Red Shield Youth Center, planning and leading education-focused activities, supervising program staff and volunteers, handling administrative duties, and transporting youth in a Salvation Army vehicle, all in support of the organization's faith-based youth development mission.
Assists in planning, implementing, leading and supervising one or two program areas such as education and or other program areas. Trains, es monitors and leads program staffs, volunteers and youth members ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards. Performs administrative duties supporting Center operations and programs. Collaborates with operations and program leadership to ensure promotion of youth develop skills in well-rounded program areas. Introduces and executes programs in a safe manner and to positively impact the lives of youth through activities and services that measurably and progressively move youth individually to attain positive educational outcomes.
Drives Salvation Army vehicle to transport youth members/staff to/from the Red Shield Youth Center and to/from approved community activities and events.
Participates in the Salvation Army’s ministry advancement by collaborating with the Salvation Army Officers to ensure Red Shield Youth Centers provide an engaging, enriching and empowering environment where youth develop Christ-like character, preparing them to become tomorrow’s leaders.
