Reefer Business Development Manager - Sea Logistics

As a Reefer Business Development Manager – Sea Logistics, you will drive the growth of Kuehne+Nagel's Sea Logistics Reefer business across Egypt. You will be responsible for expanding market share, developing new business opportunities in the perishable and temperature-controlled cargo segment, and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Working closely with regional and global product teams, you will help deliver competitive logistics solutions while ensuring outstanding service quality and profitability.

How you create impact

• Develop and grow the reefer and perishable cargo business through new customer acquisition and account development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, supporting their logistics requirements and delivering exceptional service.
• Identify new trade lanes, market opportunities, and revenue streams to increase market share.
• Prepare quotations, RFQs, RFPs, and tender submissions while supporting sales proposals and customer presentations.
• Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and commercial agreements with customers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth implementation and successful delivery of customer solutions.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights on competitive activity and business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, guidelines, and operational standards

What we would like you to bring

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Reefer Sales, Business Development, or Sea Logistics
• Strong understanding of temperature-controlled and perishable cargo logistics.
• Proven track record in business development, customer acquisition, and account growth.
• Experience preparing tenders, quotations, and commercial proposals.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer management capabilities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven approach.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (Spoken and Written)
