Reference Data Analyst
We are looking for a Reference Data Operations Analyst to support the quality and maintenance of critical financial data used across trading, risk, and operational processes.
This is an operations- and business-focused role, not a software development position. You will work with reference and security data, investigate data issues, ensure compliance with data standards, and help improve processes through SQL, Python, AI, and automation.
- 3–4+ years of relevant experience in reference data, securities operations, fund administration, or a similar financial environment.
- Strong understanding of data quality and operational controls.
- Confident working with SQL and discussing query results.
- Experience with Python and automation is highly desirable.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of equities, bonds, and options is beneficial.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify issues, challenge data quality, and work effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
