Reference Data Specialist
Job responsibilities
The Reference Data Specialist operates at the intersection of change and daily operations, with a focus on asset-related reference and market data topics. The role supports the ongoing development of competence and robust processes in the asset data and market data domain, while ensuring high data quality and effective collaboration across business and IT stakeholders.
In addition, the role continues to act as Scrum Master for the team, supporting agile ways of working and the effective delivery of team objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and further develop competence in the asset data and market data domain.
• Analyze asset master data and market data issues, identify root causes, and address data-quality topics.
• Collaborate closely with product specialists, business stakeholders, IT teams, and relevant data experts to ensure data quality and assess requirements.
• Manage stakeholders and expectations across change initiatives and operational activities.
• Create and document change requests, coordinate implementation activities, and monitor delivery.
• Perform functional testing of changes, including regression testing, and support issue resolution.
• Provide first-level support for asset data and market data-related inquiries and incidents.
• Deliver education and knowledge sharing to relevant stakeholders where appropriate.
• Drive continuous improvement of asset data and market data processes, controls, and workflows.
• Act as ScrumMaster for the team, facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and supporting effective collaboration and delivery.
