Refrigeration Pipefitter

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Pipefitter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with strong commercial refrigeration and HVAC piping experience who is looking for a long-term position with a growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC piping systems.
• Install refrigerant piping, fittings, valves, controls, and related components.
• Measure, cut, bend, braze, solder, and assemble piping according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and job specifications.
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, evacuation, and system start-up.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration piping and system issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Work with compressors, condensers, evaporators, and associated refrigeration equipment.
• Coordinate with technicians, project managers, contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure work complies with Massachusetts codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards.
• Follow all OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
