Refurb Warehouse Technician
Description of the role:
As a Refurb Warehouse Employee at Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and organized operation of our warehouse. You will play a critical role in refurbishing and preparing our products for resale, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing support to the warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming products and materials, carefully inspecting them for damages or defects
- Sort, organize, and store items in designated areas
- Assist with refurbishing and packaging products prior to shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness in the warehouse
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill order requests and meet customer expectations
- Perform periodic audits to ensure product quality and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with warehouse team and management to address any issues or concerns
Requirements:
- Prior warehouse or similar work experience preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately follow instructions
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift heavy objects
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
