JOB SUMMARY
The REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER (RAM) – RC is responsible for developing and managing client relationships within an assigned geographic region. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, educating prospective and existing clients on service offerings, and delivering tailored roofing solutions that support regional market growth. The RAM strengthens RoofConnect’s presence by implementing proactive sales strategies, maintaining an active pipeline, and ensuring exceptional client service across the region. The RAM manages the full sales cycle within their territory, maintains accurate records, and contributes directly to revenue growth. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-driven, and excels in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT & CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS: Identify and engage prospective clients within the assigned geographic region, including commercial property owners, facility managers, and key decision-makers. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication, strategic outreach, and consistent value delivery.
2. REGIONAL SALES STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Develop and execute a proactive regional sales strategy that includes cold calling, networking, and targeting marketing. Generate qualified leads, convert prospects into clients, and contribute to the expansion of the company’s regional footprint.
3. CLIENT CONSULTATION & SOLUTIONS SELLING: Educate clients on RoofConnect’s service offerings. Assess client needs and recommend tailored roofing solutions that align with their business goals. Deliver presentations and proposals both virtually and in-person.
4. CRM MANAGEMENT & SALES TRACKING: Use Salesforce to document all sales activity, manage leads and opportunities, and maintain accurate regional records. Leverage CRM data to support sales forecasting territory planning, pipeline development, and performance analysis.
5. REGIONAL ACCOUNT OVERSIGHT & GROWTH: Manage a portfolio of regional accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. Provide regular follow-up, resolve client issues promptly, and seek opportunities to expand service engagement across additional locations within the region.
6. DATA ANALYSIS & REVENUE MONITORING: Analyze regional sales trends, revenue data, and operational performance. Support planning efforts by assessing administrative commitments, operating costs, and relevant performance metrics tied to regional accounts.
7. TRAVEL & CLIENT ENGAGEMENT: Attend client meetings, site visits, industry events, and networking functions within the assigned region to maintain client relationships and enhance company visibility. Travel typically required up to 15-20%
8. COLLABORATION & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT: Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and support teams to ensure service alignment with client expectations. Provide input for cross-functional initiatives and process improvements that enhance customer service.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of B2B sales strategies, national account management, and territory development.
- Knowledge of facility services, commercial construction, or related service industries.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, with an emphasis on Salesforce for lead and pipeline management.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships through vital and in-person engagement.
- Ability to identify client needs and provide customized service solutions aligned with business goals.
- Ability to interpret sales data, operational trends, and revenue reports to support business development.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in B2B sales with demonstrated record of success.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.

WORK CONDITIONS:
Works in a heated and cooled office environment.
Regional travel 25% for client engagement and networking
