Regional Business Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding / East) [EL]

General Description

Responsible for coordinating regional customer operations, performance improvement and business process initiatives across APAC. The role acts as a key link between customers, country teams and regional stakeholders, supporting operational delivery, performance management, process improvement and implementation activities to achieve sustainable business outcomes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Regional Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, country teams, regional functions and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-country activities to ensure consistent execution of operational and customer management initiatives.
• Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across regional teams and promote the adoption of successful practices.
• Support team productivity through process optimization, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Customer & Business Performance

• Support the management of assigned customer operations, including execution planning, utilization monitoring, communications and knowledge management.
• Participate in customer business reviews and performance discussions, providing relevant operational insights and recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and agreed improvement targets and coordinate follow-up actions to address performance gaps.
• Identify opportunities to improve service performance, operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Support the resolution of complex operational issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders and driving agreed actions towards completion.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support customer development, retention and business growth.
• Support forecasting and resource planning activities, particularly for anticipated peak periods.

Process, Data & Implementation

• Review, analyse and document existing processes and future requirements as part of regional process standardization initiatives.
• Support the development of standardized workflows, operating procedures and process improvements across APAC.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, data flows and operational reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of QBR presentations, management reports and customer performance materials.
• Coordinate with implementation teams on project activities to facilitate smooth onboarding and transition.
• Monitor relevant APAC market developments and proactively communicate potential risks, opportunities and mitigation actions.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
