Regional CDL-A Chemical Freight Driver | No-Touch Unloading & Paid Hazmat Renewal

Haul specialty freight and let the receiver do the unloading. This regional Class A CDL position out of Des Moines, IA moves ink and chemical totes across the Midwest and beyond. You get an assigned automatic sleeper, a weekly $200 safety bonus, extra pay on tanker stops, and your hazmat renewal covered while you’re on the account. Pay is activity-based, with weekly home time.

Pay & Bonuses

• $0.65 per mile
• $40 per stop, plus $80 per tanker stop
• $200 weekly safety bonus
• $15/hour detention pay
• $200/day holiday pay
• $365/day for off-account work
• $200/day during new hire training
• Paid online orientation, plus monthly paid safety and hazmat training
• Hazmat endorsement renewal paid by the account

Schedule & Home Time

• Regional routes, home weekly for your reset
• 6-day work week with a flexible day off
• Start times between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on route and appointments
• Extra work available on other accounts when load counts are low

Routes & Freight

• Ink and chemical totes in tanker, reefer or van trailers
• Receiver unloads, no driver unload
• Outbound loads preloaded
• Regional operating area across the Midwest, South and East

Equipment

• International sleeper trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Assigned truck, no slip seating
• On-site training with a certified trainer

Endorsement Requirement

• Hazmat endorsement required
• Tanker endorsement required before start date

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• No SAP Drivers
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical card
• Valid Hazmat endorsement
• Tanker endorsement obtained before start date
