Regional CDL-A Intermodal Driver | Pick Your Schedule

We are hiring Class A CDL drivers in Sumner, Washington, for regional intermodal routes across Washington and Oregon. Choose your own schedule and start time, enjoy consistent freight in assigned automatic trucks, and earn activity-based pay with yearly raises and home time every week. The cost of your hazmat endorsement is reimbursed.

Pay & Bonuses

• Average $74,000 per year ($1,423.08 per week)
• $0.48 - $0.55 per mile, with yearly $0.01 per mile raises
• $1,000 per week during paid new hire training
• Extra pay for hazmat loads, detention, and driver unloads

Schedule & Home Time

• Home weekly
• Choose Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday, or Sunday–Thursday
• Choose AM or PM start times
• About 1,775 miles per week
• Average 2–3 layovers per week (about 5 in winter)
• Thanksgiving and Christmas are optional

Routes & Freight

• Regional routes in Washington and Oregon
• Deliver rail containers from BNSF and nearby rail yards in Sumner, Tukwila, and Seattle
• Mix of drop/hook and live load/unload
• No-touch freight
• Chaining when weather requires

Equipment

• Assigned automatic single-bunk sleeper trucks
• 53' box trailers
• Trucks picked up at the Sumner, WA yard

Endorsement Requirement

• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire
• Hazmat cost reimbursed

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of trucking experience
• Willingness to obtain hazmat within 60 days of hire
• Willingness to chain up when needed
