Regional Construction Cost Manager

As a Regional Construction Cost Manager, you will play a key part in supporting regional profitability by establishing, controlling, and measuring construction costs across major phases of the homebuilding process. The Regional Construction Cost Manager partners closely with division and regional leadership, Production Managers, Division Construction Cost Managers, Procurement, and Architectural Services to drive cost accuracy, process consistency, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Establish and maintain competitive construction costs for products, options, and major phases of construction across the region.
• Negotiate regional trade partner bids and manage the vendor base to support quality, capacity, service, and pricing objectives.
• Monitor cost accuracy, cost variance, Direct Profit movement, unspent funds, rebates, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support new product releases by coordinating costing, pricing, product options, Master Section Sheets, and communication to divisions.
• Lead regular cost management reviews, partner with DCCMs on action plans, and help drive consistent execution across the region.
• Manage, coach, and develop Regional Construction Systems Administrator(s), DCCMs, Costing SAMs, and other cost-related roles as needed.
• Serve as a key regional contact for Procurement and Architectural Services and support direct buy programs, commodity teams, and production best practices.

• A leader who can coach others, build accountability, and support regional and division profitability goals.
• Comfort working in both office and job site environments.

This position pays $XX,000 - $XX,000 per year and may also be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of performance criteria. Individual pay is determined by factors including the candidate’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, and location.
