Regional Customer & Distribution Data Analyst - Contract
About the role
This is a high-impact position within the regional Commercial Operations department, designed to transform how organizational data is converted into actionable intelligence. Acting as the bridge between technical IT departments and business leadership, the successful candidate will ensure that performance metrics regarding clients, sales channels, and marketing efforts are accurate, insightful, and ready for senior management review.
Key responsibilities
Oversee the end-to-end reporting lifecycle for regional KPIs, including sales performance and client experience metrics.
Serve as the final authority on data accuracy by auditing and questioning submissions from local business units.
Standardize reporting definitions across all territories to ensure a single source of truth.
Identify systemic data errors and implement long-term structural solutions rather than temporary fixes.
Modernize existing reporting workflows to eliminate redundancy and manual labour.
Utilize Power BI and Excel to build automated, scalable reporting frameworks for monthly and quarterly cycles.
Produce high-level briefings that highlight performance anomalies, emerging market risks, and growth opportunities.
Develop and manage sophisticated Power BI dashboards tailored for executive consumption.
Analyse client feedback and satisfaction surveys to identify trends.
Translate survey data into actionable recommendations for product development and marketing teams.
About you
Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
3–6 years of professional experience in business intelligence or performance analytics.
Experience in financial services, insurance, or highly regulated, data-heavy environments is preferred.
Proven ability to manage multi-market reporting and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Expert-level Power BI (modelling, DAX, and dashboard design).
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SQL for extraction.
Proactive interest in utilizing AI-assisted tools and automation to improve workflows.
Ability to present complex data concisely to leadership.
Disciplined and effective when working autonomously in a remote, cross-functional environment.
