Objective
As a Regional Distribution Center Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and performance of the Regional Distribution Centers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and effective management of the distribution center's activities, including Profit & Loss control and projections, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics operations.
Position Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Degree
International Business; Supply Chain; Logistics or a related field.
Experience
3-5 years of experience specifically in third party logistics, supply chain management, or a distribution center. Produce experience is a plus.
Language
English required; Spanish preferred.
Key Job Accountabilities (3-5)
1.
RDC P&L Control: closely monitoring the financial reports to look for areas of improvement and maximize our revenue while keeping costs and expenses under control.
2.
RDC Inbound receiving: document and keeping record of all incoming shipments into the DC ensuring the right products are available at the right time to support the supply chain operation.
3.
RDC Shipping procedures: ensure the shipments are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations and requirements established.
4.
RDC Reworks: identification of defects, document the reworks and communicate to impacted areas/parties, making sure they get implemented in time to support OTIF
5.
RDC Inventory & Operational Management: overseeing inventory control processes to maintain accurate inventory levels as well as collaborating with purchasing and demand planning teams to ensure stock levels are maintained to meet costumer demands. Responsible for invoice reconciliation and approval, as well as effective management of the claims process.
