Regional Division Manager – Water/Wastewater

We are looking for a Regional Division Manager to lead and grow a multidisciplinary water/wastewater team across Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding a team of 75+ established professionals delivering conveyance, treatment, electrical, and pump station projects for public and private-sector clients.

This role blends people leadership, client engagement, business development, and hands-on project delivery. You will steward the vision for the team, build strong internal alignment, and deepen trusted client relationships while contributing directly to project success.

What You Will Do

Lead & Inspire

  • Provide clear direction and vision for a distributed regional team (Puyallup, Seattle, Spokane, Portland), aligning efforts to meet performance goals and strategic priorities
  • Lead a high-performing team by setting expectations, tracking key metrics, and driving accountability for results
  • Foster an environment where people feel supported, included, engaged, and motivated to do their best work
  • Build trust and credibility through consistent communication, sound decision-making, and visible leadership
  • Empower team members through thoughtful delegation, ownership, and recognition
  • Foster the development of emerging leaders and project managers, strengthening the team’s long-term capability
  • Champion a people and client-first mindset supporting strong relationships with existing clients while positioning the team to grow and win new work

Drive Client Success & Growth

  • Strengthen and expand client relationships across municipal water/wastewater agencies
  • Partner with business development teams to identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Position the team for strategic growth in treatment, conveyance, and pump station programs

Deliver Excellence

  • Oversee project performance, ensuring quality, schedule, and financial success
  • Act as a senior project manager or principal on key projects
  • Support teams in navigating complex technical and client challenges

Build the Future

  • Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with broader organizational goals
  • Identify opportunities to build programs and expand service offerings
  • Collaborate with the Greater Washington Leadership Team on market and operational priorities

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field required and 15+ years of experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Washington and/or Oregon preferred, or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong background in water/wastewater infrastructure (treatment, conveyance, pump stations)
  • Track record of successful client engagement and business development. Established client network within the Pacific Northwest water/wastewater market strongly preferred
  • Experience leading projects and teams in a consulting environment
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly
  • Excellent communication skills and a leadership style grounded in transparency and accountability
  • Ability to delegate effectively while staying connected to team and project outcomes
  • Passion for collaboration, integrity, and delivering exceptional client service

Salary Range
$230,000$260,000 USD

Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
