We are hiring Regional Engineering Authority at bp Azerbaijan!
The successful candidate will provide expert engineering oversight, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and safe operation of assets across the region. This role focuses on driving continuous improvement in asset performance and upholding engineering standards.
Please note that the role is open for Azerbaijani citizens only.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure compliance with engineering codes, standards and practices for all regional assets.
Lead and support Engineering Failure Analysis investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Develop and implement strategies for asset operations management, focusing on availability, maintainability, and reliability.
Drive the effective use of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for operational and maintenance activities.
Ensure adherence to established Procedures and practices and contribute to their continuous improvement.
Implement and maintain a robust Quality Management System across all engineering activities.
Lead and participate in Turnaround general planning and execution, ensuring engineering integrity.
Foster a culture of Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration within the engineering team and across departments.
Utilize Data visualization and interpretation skills to analyze performance data and identify areas for improvement.
Contribute to Business Continuity Management plans from an engineering perspective.
In this role, we have the following requirements
Education:
University degree in Science/ Engineering or equivalent technical degree
Essential skills and experience:
Proven experience in asset operations management, with a strong focus on availability, maintainability, and reliability.
In-depth knowledge of engineering codes, standards and practices.
Demonstrated expertise in Engineering Failure Analysis.
Proficiency in interpreting and utilizing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Strong understanding and experience with Procedures and practices and Quality Management Systems.
Experience in leading or significantly contributing to Turnaround general activities.
Excellent Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing skills.
Proficient in Data visualization and interpretation for technical analysis.
Familiarity with Business Continuity Management principles.
