Regional Manager

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a CPPE Regional Tutor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the continuing professional development of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across your region, helping to ensure the safe, effective and professional delivery of pharmacy services. You will act as a regional ambassador for the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE), working within a dynamic and inclusive environment that values partnership, learning and service excellence.

This is a fixed‑term post, initially to March 2029, with a five‑year contract from April 2026 to March 2031 and a break clause after three years. The role is funded at Agenda for Change Band 8a and is typically up to 0.4 FTE, with flexibility in how hours are managed.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying local learning needs and delivering high‑quality CPPE learning activities, including online and face‑to‑face workshops
  • Facilitating learning communities and promoting CPPE learning opportunities across your region
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local pharmacy stakeholders, commissioners and professional networks
  • Acting as a regional point of contact for pharmacy professionals seeking advice and support on continuing professional development
  • Line managing event tutors within the region and supporting quality assurance and evaluation processes

About You

We encourage applications from individuals with a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. You should demonstrate:

Essential Criteria :

  • Registration as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician on the GPhC register, with at least three years’ post‑registration experience
  • Membership of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society or the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and facilitate learning for groups
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the region, including occasional evening or weekend work

Desirable Criteria :

  • Experience delivering or supporting learning, training or facilitation
  • Experience using online learning platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams
  • Experience working with local pharmacy networks or commissioners
