About the opportunity

Via is partnering with an established healthcare recruitment business to recruit a Regional Manager to lead a busy recruitment delivery and bookings team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with healthcare recruitment experience who knows how to drive performance in a fast-paced temporary staffing environment.

You'll lead, coach and motivate a team responsible for placing healthcare professionals into shifts and assignments, ensuring strong fill rates, excellent client service and full compliance.

Alongside day-to-day team leadership, you'll build relationships with healthcare clients and candidates, monitor commercial performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and grow the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead, coach and motivate a healthcare recruitment bookings and delivery team
  • Set clear expectations, targets and KPIs and hold the team accountable for performance
  • Drive bookings, placements, shift coverage and overall commercial results
  • Monitor team activity and identify opportunities to improve productivity and performance
  • Oversee the end-to-end process from booking requirements through to confirmed placements
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare clients and understand their staffing requirements
  • Maintain strong candidate relationships to maximise availability and shift coverage
  • Support the team with difficult bookings, client conversations and candidate issues
  • Ensure healthcare professionals meet relevant compliance and credentialing requirements
  • Maintain high standards of customer service across clients and candidates
  • Analyse performance data and provide clear updates to senior management
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and operational processes
  • Support client growth and identify opportunities to increase business within existing accounts
  • Work collaboratively with other recruitment, compliance and operational teams
What we're looking for

Previous healthcare recruitment experience is essential for this position.

You'll ideally have:

  • Around 3–4+ years' experience within healthcare recruitment or healthcare staffing
  • Experience within temporary healthcare recruitment, bookings, delivery or staffing
  • Previous experience leading, supervising or coaching recruiters, consultants or booking coordinators
  • A strong understanding of healthcare recruitment compliance and credentialing
  • Experience working in a target and KPI-driven recruitment environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive team performance
  • Experience managing client and candidate relationships
  • Confidence handling challenging client, candidate and team situations
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience using recruitment/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work from the Bedfordshire office at least three days per week
