Description

PEACHTREE IMMEDIATE CARE
Regional Medical Director (RMD)
Southeast Region | Warner Robins & Griffin, Georgia | Medical Leadership

The Role

Are you a practicing Medical Doctor ready to take the next step into medical leadership? Peachtree Immediate Care, part of CRH Healthcare, is seeking a Regional Medical Director to help guide clinical care across Warner Robins and Griffin in Southeast Georgia. This opportunity is for a physician who values direct patient care and wants to expand their influence by coaching providers, strengthening clinical quality, and helping shape how care is delivered across multiple clinics.
You will serve as a regional medical authority and escalation resource, with a meaningful voice in medical policy, peer review, provider education, and clinical decision-making. Work alongside clinical and operational leaders to translate frontline experience into better care and stronger provider support.

What You Will Do

  • Serve on the Medical Advisory Board, present cases during peer review, and lead urgent (STAT) Medical Advisory Board reviews.
  • Hold final medical approval authority for clinical policies and procedures and serve as the final escalation point for chart-review questions.
  • Act as a trusted clinical resource for providers, respond to complex clinical questions, and participate in partner meetings requiring medical expertise.
  • Round in clinics to coach providers, reinforce standards, and provide hands-on clinical support and education.
  • Deliver targeted education, such as ECG/12-lead interpretation, heart-murmur assessment, procedural training, and residency check-ins.
  • Identify provider education needs and collaborate with Clinical Quality and Provider Education & Training leadership.
  • Lead a designated medical leadership initiative, which may focus on technology, policies, primary care, occupational medicine, or other approved priorities.
  • Support new programs and region-wide initiatives, improve clinic readiness, and help prevent service disruptions through proactive problem-solving.
  • Maintain medical licenses and related qualifications needed to support clinic operations and accreditation.
  • Model clinical excellence, operational partnership, efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Medical Doctor (MD) with an active, unrestricted Georgia medical license; any additional credentialing requirements will be confirmed before posting.
  • 10 years Experience delivering patient care in urgent care or a comparable fast-paced ambulatory clinical environment.
  • Sound clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to coach and influence providers across multiple locations.
  • Strong interest in growing into medical leadership; prior formal medical director experience is not required. Experience mentoring providers, participating in peer review, or improving clinical quality is valuable.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned Southeast Georgia clinics, including Warner Robins and Griffin.

Why Join Peachtree Immediate Care?

  • Build your career in medical leadership while continuing to influence care where it matters most—alongside providers and clinic teams.
  • Take an active role in shaping clinical quality, peer review, provider development, medical policy, and regional care initiatives.
  • Collaborate with experienced medical and operational leaders in a growing urgent care organization.
  • Make a practical difference for providers and the communities our clinics serve.
