Rate of Pay: $131,000 to $160,000 per Year

What you’ll do

  • Support the establishment and maintenance of an effective safety program for AV fleet operators and partners.
  • Support the development and execution of a safety program for AV fleet operations.
  • Assure that the infrastructure, operations, and processes comply with safety-related regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal safety standards.
  • Support internal stakeholders and external partners on SMS best practices.
  • Execute and support operational safety programs specific to vehicle operator use.
  • Manage safety programs from inception to operation while meeting strategic objectives.
  • Engage AV partners on Safety Assurance and Risk Management activities.
  • May telecommute.

Basic Qualifications

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering (Any), or related field, and three years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. OR employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Position requires:
    • Supporting the implementation and management of safety management programs in a transportation sector;
    • Safety operations;
    • Risk assessments and mitigations;
    • Incident response;
    • Project management;
    • Supporting or executing safety programs related to operational activities in the ride-hail / transportation industry;
    • SMS frameworks;
    • Performing data analysis and statistical analysis of operational safety data to generate safety performance indicators.
