Regional Parts Executive (Planning)
Job Description:
- Develop six-month regional demand forecasts and minimum monthly rolling forecasts using statistical models, service demand inputs, product launches and discontinuations, engineer insights on parts wear and tear, country-level inputs, and Parts Planning tools and systems to improve forecast accuracy and minimize bias.
- Analyse demand trends and signals across countries, distributors, service partners, and parts criticality to enhance and fine-tune forecasting parameters.
- Work closely with HQ planning teams to ensure regional forecasts are aligned with supply-side capabilities and constraints.
- Establish and maintain effective regional parts planning processes and guidelines.
- Determine appropriate service levels, safety stock, reorder and replenishment points, and reorder quantities for each SKU and market segment.
- Collaborate with Order Management and Inventory Management teams to balance regional service-level requirements against inventory costs.
- Coordinate with Business Units and Product Engineering teams to ensure planning accuracy and effective implementation.
- Optimise inventory investment through effective planning parameters, inventory balancing, and the reduction of excess and obsolete stock while maintaining targeted service levels.
- Partner with Parts Excellence colleagues to monitor planning KPIs and continuously improve planning processes, rules, and methodologies.
- Establish planning rules and thresholds to ensure alignment with downstream order management and inventory management activities.
- Provide timely support to management and the team on other assignments and responsibilities as required by business needs.
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or any related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain and planning.
