Job Summary
The Regional Procurement Lead will direct the Supply Chain Management & Procurement function to develop and execute regional procurement strategies, lead vendor management and cost optimization programs, and ensure alignment with global standards across Asia Pacific.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional procurement strategies aligned with global governance frameworks to deliver sustainable long-term value
- Design and deliver communication and training programs to enhance stakeholder understanding and engagement in procurement initiatives
- Lead vendor management activities including oversight of RFP processes and execution to secure optimal resources based on business requirements
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients by building trust-based relationships, anticipating needs, and delivering procurement solutions that exceed expectations
- Achieve savings targets by implementing robust tracking mechanisms and providing transparent, data-driven reporting on procurement performance
- Lead the Supply Chain Management & Procurement team across Asia Pacific markets to ensure service excellence and alignment with business objectives
- Provide strategic direction for outsourcing initiatives and vendor management across Integrated Facility Management disciplines
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with clients, account teams, and corporate procurement to drive effective supplier communication and governance
- Identify and capture cost reduction opportunities through annual savings programs and category management principles
- Lead continuous improvement programs with suppliers and buying groups to optimize processes and enhance value delivery
- Develop supply market intelligence to influence supplier selection and ensure access to best-in-class solutions
- Deploy best practice procurement strategies consistently across operational expenditures and capital works programs
- Foster a continuous learning culture and high-performance environment within the procurement team through training, coaching, and professional development
- Promote teamwork, trust, and ethical work practices within the team and across client and account leadership groups
