Regional QC Manager
Description
Lead and govern TAGADDOD’s regional quality control laboratories and testing systems to ensure reliable, accurate, compliant, and operationally supportive laboratory performance across all operating entities.
The role exists to strengthen product quality assurance, laboratory governance, testing reliability, and data integrity through disciplined laboratory management and full compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
This role ensures laboratory operations evolve from isolated testing activities into an integrated quality-control and operational reliability enabler aligned with TAGADDOD’s transformation strategy and Prime operating maturity journey.
Responsibilities
1- Laboratory governance & quality control management
- Lead regional laboratory and quality control governance across all entities and operating sites.
- Govern laboratory operations, testing activities, and quality control systems to ensure disciplined execution and testing reliability.
- Ensure laboratory governance supports operational stability, customer confidence, and product quality assurance.
2- ISO 17025 governance & compliance
- Lead implementation, deployment, and governance of ISO 17025 requirements across all laboratories.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO 17025 requirements including method validation, traceability, calibration, uncertainty management, and laboratory competence.
- Govern laboratory documentation, records, and controlled testing procedures in alignment with ISO 17025 standards.
3- Laboratory operations & testing reliability
- Ensure reliable, accurate, and timely laboratory testing and reporting across all entities.
- Govern sample handling, testing discipline, result integrity, and laboratory workflow effectiveness.
- Ensure laboratory operations support production continuity and operational decision-making.
- Govern laboratory testing prioritization and service responsiveness to support operational continuity and business needs.
4- Laboratory competence & technical qualification
- Govern laboratory competency frameworks and technical qualification requirements.
- Ensure laboratory personnel competence, authorization discipline, and sustained technical capability.
Calibration, validation & data integrity
- Govern laboratory equipment calibration, testing traceability, and measurement reliability.
- Ensure laboratory data integrity, testing accuracy, and controlled reporting systems.
- Lead method validation and measurement uncertainty governance activities.
5- Quality assurance & operational support
- Ensure laboratory and QC activities support approved product quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Operations, Planning & Warehouse, Procurement, and QHSE functions to ensure aligned quality execution and operational support.
- Support RCA and CAPA investigations related to product quality, process instability, and recurring quality deviations.
6- Audit & compliance support
- Support IMS audit rhythm and laboratory audit readiness across all entities.
- Ensure laboratory compliance with legal, regulatory, customer, certification, and ISO requirements.
- Monitor laboratory process compliance through structured audit and verification activities.
7- Transformation & continuous improvement enablement
- Partner with QHSE and Transformation & Continuous Improvement functions to support laboratory governance maturity and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure disciplined adoption of approved laboratory transformation initiatives and quality governance programs.
- Support laboratory digitalization, testing visibility, and reporting systems to strengthen operational decision quality.
- Support laboratory digitalization and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) to strengthen testing visibility and data reliability.
8- Leadership & capability development
- Lead and develop regional laboratory teams and country QC leadership.
- Promote a culture of testing discipline, accountability, data integrity, and operational partnership.
- Build laboratory capability, technical competence, and succession readiness across entities.
- Govern laboratory operating rhythm and laboratory review cadence across all entities.
- Govern laboratory equipment suitability, readiness, and lifecycle support requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality control with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing multiple sites or regions.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or Integrated Management Systems).
- Proven experience in leading quality teams and managing audits.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in quality tools and software.
- Willingness to travel across the region as needed.
