HKG Duty Free, part of the Ariva Group, is seeking an experienced Regional Retail Manager to oversee our Airport Duty Free operations in Texas.
This role will lead high-volume retail locations specializing in premium perfumes & fragrances, liquor & spirits, and tobacco products within a fast-paced airport environment. The ideal candidate understands luxury retail, high-ticket sales, inventory control, and regulatory compliance in duty-free operations.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations
- Ensure smooth daily operations across airport retail locations
- Oversee merchandising and inventory control of premium fragrance, spirits, and tobacco categories
- Supervise bonded merchandise in compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, including inventory tracking and reporting
- Conduct cycle counts, audits, and enforce loss prevention standards
Sales & Profitability
- Drive revenue growth across high-margin categories including luxury perfumes, liquor, and tobacco
- Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs
- Analyze sales trends and forecast performance
- Implement promotional strategies and product displays aligned with corporate initiatives
Customer Experience
- Maintain exceptional customer service standards in a fast-paced, travel retail environment
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and airport retail regulations
- Resolve escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop store managers and sales teams
- Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing training
- Foster a results-driven, customer-focused culture
Financial Oversight
- Manage regional budgets and control operational expenses
- Review inventory, slow-moving stock, and shrinkage reports
- Maximize profitability while maintaining compliance and operational standards
