Regional Sales Manager - Multan Region


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Revenue Growth:

  • Deliver sales targets for the Corn Seeds portfolio in the assigned region.
  • Drive season and hybrid wise regional and territorial business plans.
  • Monitor sales forecasts, pricing discipline, and credit control.
  • Drive market share for Pioneer brand in the assigned region
  • New product (RC1-RC3) volume delivery
  • Monthly forecasting and sharing with 95%+ accuracy to achieve assigned financial and portfolio wise annual sales targets.

2. Team Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop Territory Managers and extended sales team members i.e. Demand Generators.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Foster a high-performance and accountable team culture.

3. Channel Partner Management

  • Build strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers (Sub-Ds).
  • Ensure proper execution and achievement of Joint Business Plans, product availability, and liquidation of stocks.
  • RTM development / Channel expansions, per business needs.
  • Address channel concerns proactively and drive loyalty programs.
  • Review regularly channel health indicators to ensure smooth operations are attained in assigned region
  • Build a strong network of professional and financially muscular distributors for consistent business growth
  • Prudent credit management and ensure timely recoveries.

4. Market Development

  • Collaborate with the sales head, marketing and agronomy teams to execute planned demand generation campaigns, field expos, field demos, and farmer meetings.
  • Identify new market opportunities, competitor moves, and crop dynamics.
  • Provide insights to guide product positioning and portfolio expansion.
  • Consistent focus on demand generation activities to ensure strong demand of Pioneer portfolio from farmers.
  • Seamless execution of demand generation KPIs, territory and DG wise in the region.

5. Compliance & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing strategies, and ethical practices.
  • Adherence to defined company values & policies
  • Oversee timely documentation, reporting, and CRM/Salesforce usage.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and finance for smooth operations.
  • Work closely with credit extension teams to ensure timely recoveries are in place
  • Database management and ensuring field activities are recorded in field automation system

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achievement of annual and season wise sales targets
  • Market share growth
  • Achievement of demand generation activities
  • Distributor health (inventory turnover, credit discipline)
  • Team productivity and engagement

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related fields. Having an MBA degree will be an added advantage.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Agri-input sales, with at least 3 years in agri related leadership role.
  • Proven track record in Seeds or Crop Protection businesses.
  • Strong network with growers and distribution in the region.
