Regional Sales Manager - Pacific Northwest

The Regional Sales Manager will develop and implement plans to achieve sustainable sales growth in the assigned territory by promoting and selling Applied Motion Products with a focus on high value original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to aggressively grow our market share and increase sales revenue.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Acquire and qualify high value Direct OEM customers. Target Direct OEM customers with high $ sales potential, develop and implement plans to shift direct sales emphasis to high value Direct OEM accounts.
  • Provide consulting level analytical assessment of opportunities and poses the communication and presentations skills to progress an opportunity from the relating stage, through the technical discovery stage understanding the motivations of each customer need leading to closure of opportunity.
  • Provide the required responsiveness to specify and quote products and systems aligned with customers technical and commercial needs at the customers speed of business.
  • Assist in the development of product launch and product training for your assigned region aligned with the Applied Motion Products corporate strategy.
  • Work with internal AMP departments to identify, qualify and close key prospects in selected market segments, alignment of engineering and application resources with existing customers and new account development.
  • Maintain consistent contact and provide support to existing customers and new prospects, follow-up on customer issues or needs to assure that they have been resolved.
  • Update customer relations database within our Salesforce (CRM) system
  • Provide customer feedback and market/industry intelligence to align product research and development with market/industry needs
