Regional Security Manager (APAC & Middle East)

Role Overview:

We are partnering with a global logistics leader to appoint a Regional Security Manager. You will be responsible for developing & rolling out supply chain related security policies & procedures across the APAC & Middle East region. You will provide guidance to country teams to improve existing practices & maintain compliance over security-related customer requests & industry standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define processes & plans relating to supply chain security according to local statutory regulations, industry standards (TAPA, AEO, etc.) & customer requests.
• Manage the security of cargo in the warehouse & in transit (from point-to-point).
• Oversee the management of high-tech / high-value cargo.
• Review & implement security policies & procedures such as incident management, security asset procurement & security equipment installation projects.
• Work closely with customer account management & operations to resolve security-related accidents. Conduct root cause analysis & define action plans for each incident.
• Submit documentation for claims processing & reporting.
• Oversee security compliance & audit of carriers, third-party warehouses & transport companies in accordance to internal standards.
• Manage 3rd party vendors that provide security or transport services.
• Support countries in the region in the development & implementation of Business Continuity Plans & Emergency Response Plans.
• Administer policies & practices regarding employee business travel security, & support Corporate Head Office on security policy implementation.
• Roll out security knowledge training & know-how for staff across all levels.
• Identify, promote & share best practices with all offices across the region.
• Support the region & wider network on supply chain security for tenders & projects, contract implementation & execution.
  

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of experience in a logistics business security role
• Strong project management skills and experiencesProficient in English language
• Experience in both international freight forwarding and/or contract logistics business
• Experience in an APAC security role is a plus
