Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Global Physical Security, the Regional Security Manager, Mexico leads physical security operations, risk mitigation, vendor performance, and investigations across all Arrow locations in Mexico. Based onsite in Zapopan, Jalisco, this role builds strategic programs, manages contract guard forces and security tech, and leverages strong networks with local law enforcement and private security partners to protect employees, facilities, and business operations. Domestic travel and availability for off-hours crisis response are required.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Security Operations & Program Management

  • Provide oversight and management of all contract guard services throughout Mexico.
  • Provide oversight and management of physical security projects throughout Mexico, including security system installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Manage security integrators and vendors to ensure compliance with local laws, company standards, project timelines, and budget requirements.
  • Utilize intelligence and analytics to enable informed decision-making and enhance Arrow’s overall security environment.
  • Support the Director of Global Physical Security in investigations, security incidents, executive protection activities, and other security initiatives as required.
  • Support investigations and ensure proper evidence collection, handling, documentation, and case development when appropriate.
  • Partner with Human Resources, Legal, and business leaders on threat assessments and case management.
  • Promote awareness, education, and training programs designed to enhance employee safety and preparedness.

Law Enforcement and Private Sector Engagement

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Arrow Electronics and law enforcement agencies, emergency management organizations, private-sector security partners, and relevant industry security networks in Mexico.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with external security organizations and industry associations in Mexico.
  • Coordinate security-related communications and response activities during critical incidents and emergencies.

What We Are Looking For:

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in corporate security, physical security, law enforcement, investigations, threat assessment, or a related security discipline, including at least 3 years managing security operations across multiple sites or regions, with demonstrated responsibility for protecting people, facilities, assets, and business operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing physical security operations across multiple sites, including guard force oversight, incident response coordination, vendor management, security technology support, and site-level risk mitigation.
  • Knowledge of evidence handling, investigative processes, and case preparation.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience and/or formal training in interviewing and interrogation techniques.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships with law enforcement agencies and external security partners.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with access control, CCTV, video management systems, intrusion detection, visitor management, incident reporting tools, and integrated physical security technologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in English is a must.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, business, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$69,350.00 - $105,000.00 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
