Regional Vice President, Institutional Sales

Lead strategic institutional sales, manage a regional sales organization, develop client relationships, oversee borrow-lend liquidity, grow trading execution volume, and provide market feedback to optimize products, services, distribution, and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Pursue strategic and operating sales goals
• Organize the department's sales process flow
• Structure and manage the regional institutional sales team
• Develop relationships with existing and new institutional clients
• Manage borrow and lend liquidity dynamics
• Grow execution volume in OTC, bulk spot, futures and derivatives trading
• Provide market feedback to optimize products, services, sales strategy, distribution and institutional platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a technical field
• At least 5 years of experience on the buy-side or at an institutional desk in sales or client management
• Existing institutional relationships, especially within cryptocurrencies
• Knowledge of capital markets products including lending instruments, futures and derivatives
• Understanding of trading risk management and position keeping
• Entrepreneurial, business development and independent problem-solving skills
• Ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Ability to learn, lead and improve processes
• Working knowledge of a regional language such as English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese
• Local residency or citizenship
