Regional Vice President Institutional Sales
You pursue strategic sales goals, structure and manage a regional institutional sales team, develop institutional client relationships, manage borrow and lend liquidity dynamics, grow trading execution volume, and provide market feedback to improve products, services, sales strategy, distribution, and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Pursue strategic and operating sales goals
- Organize the department's sales process flow
- Structure and manage the regional institutional sales team
- Develop relationships with existing and new institutional clients
- Manage borrow and lend liquidity dynamics
- Grow execution volume in OTC, bulk spot, futures and derivatives trading
- Provide market feedback to optimize products, services, sales strategy, distribution and institutional platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or a technical field
- At least 5 years of experience on the buy-side or at an institutional desk in sales or client management
- Existing institutional relationships, especially within cryptocurrencies
- Knowledge of capital markets products including lending instruments, futures and derivatives
- Understanding of trading risk management and position keeping
- Entrepreneurial, business development and independent problem-solving skills
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Ability to learn, lead and improve processes
- Working knowledge of a regional language such as English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Arabic or Portuguese
- Local residency or citizenship
