Regional Warranty Manager (Automotive)

A leading automotive organization is seeking an experienced Technical & Warranty Manager to oversee regional warranty operations, claims governance, dealer audit activities, and quality improvement initiatives across the aftersales network.

The role will be responsible for developing and optimizing warranty policies, managing warranty risk and compliance, driving dealer performance improvements, and ensuring efficient claim management processes. The successful candidate will work closely with technical, quality, finance, and aftersales teams to improve warranty cost control, repair quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional warranty management strategies and annual operational plans
  • Manage and optimize warranty policies, claims procedures, and audit frameworks
  • Review and approve major or exceptional warranty claims while minimizing operational and financial risk
  • Conduct dealer field audits and ensure compliance with warranty standards and policies
  • Analyze warranty trends, audit findings, and quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor warranty budgets, cost control measures, and claim efficiency
  • Support dealers with warranty operations, technical guidance, and compliance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, technical, finance, and aftersales departments
  • Support new vehicle launches and warranty readiness activities
  • Develop KPI-driven reporting and process improvement mechanisms
  • Lead team capability development and performance management initiatives


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive warranty, technical support, or aftersales operations
  • Strong knowledge of warranty policies, claims management, and dealer audit processes
  • Good understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and failure analysis
  • Experience in dealer network management and compliance monitoring
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel and BI/reporting tools
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience within OEM or distributor environments is highly preferred
  • Fluent English communication skills required
