Regional Youth Program Supervisor (77500)
Summary
Supervises a youth services program, ensuring staff performance, regulatory compliance, and service quality while managing budgets and partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Provides leadership and supervision.
- Assigns duties to employees and provides daily guidance, mentoring, and supervision.
- Communicates the agency’s financial, strategic, and all other applicable updates.
- Provides, reviews, and ensures employees receive instruction/training needed to successfully complete their assigned job responsibilities.
- Ensures that employees are aware of, and adhere to, appropriate company policies and procedures.
- Provides input into the maintenance and upkeep of departmental job descriptions.
- Prepares and conducts performance appraisals.
- Supports department budget by reviewing purchase requests and being a good steward of spending.
- Participates in hiring, disciplinary, and termination procedures.
- Oversees quality of services and safety of the program to ensure success.
- Ensures successful adherence to accrediting and regulatory bodies governing programs and services.
- Conducts chart reviews to ensure staff documentation meets standards of care and policy.
- Conducts audits of timekeeping and performance to ensure persons served receive appropriate service at the level required.
- Creates partnerships, including memorandums of understanding, to serve grant-identified populations.
- Works with Region 5 community partners to promote awareness events focused on youth and family recovery.
- Builds partnerships to strengthen service systems and to ensure long-term sustainability.
