Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) to design and maintain cable infrastructure that supports the DoD environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecommunications, cable systems, and infrastructure design, specifically for the DoD, with a focus on excellence in planning, execution, and the ability to handle well-defined and undefined scopes.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct urgent break-fixes and other requirements in response to incidents.
- Manage the network connectivity at all assigned quarters.
- Implement and manage network connectivity and transport across all classification levels.
- Manage and perform the installation, maintenance, and removal of all equipment in accordance with JSP-approved standards and architecture drawings.
- Manage and perform life-cycle maintenance for all transport devices and supporting equipment.
- Manage and perform the patching and cabling for supported devices.
- Prepare a Rapid Response Team Monthly Report of all work performed by the Rapid Response Team.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure that all systems meet the necessary standards for security, quality, and performance.
