Kimball & Beecher Family Dentistry is looking for a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our team. Our office offers a welcoming environment, modern dental technology, an excellent patient population, and doctors who are committed to delivering exceptional care.

We’re looking for someone with dental assisting experience who is confident supporting clinical procedures, maintaining infection control standards, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visits.

What You'll Do

• Assist dentists and the clinical team during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
• Take dental radiographs in accordance with Iowa requirements.
• Sterilize instruments and follow established infection control and safety protocols.
• Provide patients with oral hygiene education and pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Anticipate the needs of the dentist and support efficient clinical workflows.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable, and positive patient experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential in Iowa preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, clinical procedures, and infection control practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
