Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients in a state forensic hospital, developing care plans and advising staff on dietary needs using clinical nutrition expertise.

We are currently seeking a Full-time or Part time Clinical Dietitians to join our team at Atascadero State Hospital located in Atascadero, California.
$48.00 per hour + Medical, dental and vision benefits for Full Time (30-40 hours weekly)
Monday - Friday Day shift of 8am - 4:30pm
The Dietitian (CA Staffing) works under the direction of the Assistant Director of Nutrition Services on a multi-disciplinary team to provide medical nutrition therapy to forensic clients, patients, or inmates in a state facility.
Essential Duties:
• Developing and implementing nutritional care plans based on nutritional history and assessments
• Assisting and advising clinical personnel on any special nutritional needs
• Interpreting prescriptions for special diets
• Authorizing substitution or modification of special diets
• Assisting in the selection and training or dietary staff
• Planning and conducting in-service training programs for food personnel
• Other duties as needed
