Registered Dietitian - Medical Oncology Clinic
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Candidates
Part-time (48-hour pay period), First Shift
Job Description:
Assess nutritional needs of radiation and chemotherapy outpatients. Provide counseling to patients on managing nutrition-related side effects of oncology treatment and importance of nutrition in relation to cancer. Provide appropriate recommendations to optimize nutritional status of patients.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science Degree with major in food and nutrition required. (Master's degree in dietetics required for those who graduated after January 2024). Degree must be recognized accredited University or College approved by the Accreditation Council for Education and Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND).
Current Kentucky Dietitian license required.
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required, or registry eligible with the expectation of obtaining registration within the required probationary period.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) credentialing preferred.
