Registered Dietitian
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and periodically thereafter
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Monitor food service operations for quality, safety, and nutritional adequacy
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
- Document assessments and progress notes in accordance with facility policies
- Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
- Experience in long-term care or clinical nutrition preferred
- Knowledge of geriatric nutrition and medical nutrition therapy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with regulatory surveys and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
16 hours per week, $44.87- $56.10 per hour
