Registered Dietitian

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and periodically thereafter
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Monitor food service operations for quality, safety, and nutritional adequacy
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff
• Document assessments and progress notes in accordance with facility policies
• Participate in care plan meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
• Experience in long-term care or clinical nutrition preferred
• Knowledge of geriatric nutrition and medical nutrition therapy
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with regulatory surveys and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

16 hours per week, $44.87- $56.10 per hour
