Frances Perry House is seeking a Registered Midwife to join their Labour Suite Ward. In this role, you will be working alongside a team dedicated to delivering a high standard of care for mothers, newborns and their families. It would involve assessing and caring for women in labour in collaboration with Obstetricians. We care for women who are both low and high risk. We are passionate about promoting holistic and patient centred care.
Permanent Full Time and Part Time Positions – you choose!
As a Registered Midwife in our Birth Suite, you’ll play a vital role in providing compassionate, safe, and professional care across low and high-risk births. You will:
- Provide hands-on care to women and families throughout labour and birth
- Monitor maternal and foetal wellbeing and support clinical interventions
- Deliver safe, patient-centred care from labour through to immediate postnatal support
- Collaborate with your multidisciplinary team to ensure every birth is a positive experience
- Continue building your confidence and skills in a supportive, team-based environment
About You
We are looking for passionate midwives at any level of experience who have a high standard of patient centred care and customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have effective communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.
You’ll have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Commitment to complete RANSCOG CTG training
- Minimum 2 years experience in maternity
- Be flexible to cover all shifts – Morning, afternoon and night shift
- Competency in IV insertion, CTG interpretation and epidural management
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
Remuneration
$40.13- $ 51.26 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)
