Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Imaging

• Location: Carmel, IN
• Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Carmel
• Department/Specialty: Cardiac Services | Radiology
• Schedule: Part Time Days | Weekend Option | Saturday and Sunday 7:00am to 7:30am

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• Prefer at least 1 or 2 years of current cardiac nurse experience in an imaging or radiology department.
