• Schedule: Night Shift | Full-time

• Team Direction: Assign, direct, and educate nursing and support staff to ensure peak shift performance.
• Acuity-Based Assignments: Evaluate daily patient needs to design and distribute optimized staff assignments.
• Quality Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of patient care and pro-actively resolve threats to positive outcomes.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the front-line advocate to manage and resolve patient care concerns through proper channels.
• Talent Development: Provide key input on staff hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:

• 1 year previous charge experience preferred.
