Registered Nurse-Child CSU PRN

Gracepoint, the leader in providing mental health services to the Tampa Bay Community for over 50 years is seeking a Registered Nurse.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager and Coordinator of Nursing, the Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to mentally ill consumers in the crisis stabilization unit to assist them in regaining or maintaining good physical and mental health. They will oversee care provided by LPN and Behavioral Health Techs. They will utilize nursing processes including assessment, identification of nursing problems, planning, execution, evaluation and notification of nursing interventions as determined by consumer outcomes.

Requirements: Valid Florida RN license + 1year experience. Good interpersonal skills, assessment skills, knowledge of community resources, ability to work with and motivate others, and experience working with persons who are homeless and persons who have mental illness.• Ability to make logical decisions based on sound reasoning and understanding of consequences.• Ability to assess and record observations; and complete professional and business correspondence.• Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets clinical record information, departmental procedures, and government regulations.• Ability to effectively present information clearly and concisely in verbal and written form.
