Registered Nurse Critical Care Traveler

• Location: Waco, TX
• Facility: Ascension Providence Hospital
• Department/Specialty: Ascension Premier Staffing - ICU
• Schedule: Multiple shifts available | 36 hours per week
  Gross rate up to $2,609 per week

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Certified Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Preferred Experience

• 3 years Critical Care experience
• Previous experience with APS travel
• Previous experience with TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, CRRT, STEMI, HF, hypoxic, respiratory failure, CHF, pneumonia
