Registered Nurse Emergency Department

● Schedule: Evenings l Part-time
● Sign-on bonus: Up to $8,000

● Deliver expert nursing care within the operative setting, managing the safety and clinical needs of patients undergoing complex surgical and invasive procedures.
● Drive procedural efficiency by performing scrub functions, including the meticulous selection and sterile handling of specialized instruments and surgical supplies.
● Serve as a vigilant patient advocate through circulating functions, monitoring and communicating patient status while managing comprehensive care before, during, and after surgery.
● Provide direct clinical assistance to the operating physician by performing essential tasks such as suturing, wound exposure, and achieving hemostasis to ensure successful outcomes.
● Ensure a high-functioning surgical environment by expertly preparing operating rooms and maintaining the readiness of advanced surgical instruments

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
● Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
● One or more of the following:
○ Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
○ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
● Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
