Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care by performing rapid patient assessments, implementing critical care plans, and continuously monitoring, recording, and communicating changing patient conditions in a fast-paced ED.
Serve as the primary care coordinator across multidisciplinary emergency teams to execute physician orders, manage complex treatments, and ensure seamless, well-coordinated patient interventions.
Manage the entire patient trajectory from initial triage and acute stabilization through to comprehensive discharge planning and coordination with the healthcare team.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
Additional Preference:
- 1 year RN emergency room or ICU experience or 2 years medical surgical experience.
