Registered Nurse Full Time Nights

FCMH has an immediate opening for a full-time night nurse. This is a 7 on 7 off 12 hour position.

Do you love providing compassionate nursing care? Franklin County Memorial Hospital is in need of a Registered Nurse (RN) for our acute care department. The successful candidate will love working with ventilator patients, physical therapy patients, and general acute care patients that suffer from illnesses and/or injuries. We are looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable and successful with communicating with family members and doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her patients. Our nurses coordinate total nursing care for patients and participate in patient and family teaching. They provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Skills Needed: Excellent Clinical Skills, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Critical Thinking Skills, Medication Administration, Medical Teamwork, Multi-tasking, Listening, Strong Verbal Communication, Great Attention to Detail, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Strong Computer Skills. Previous experience with Peg tubes, PICC lines, NG tubes, Ventilator Patients is preferred, but not mandatory.

Qualifications: Current Mississippi RN License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS current or obtains within 90 days of hire date.
