Registered Nurse

Location: Chicago, IL

Department: Internal Float

Schedule: Day shift | PRN

• Deliver high-quality, adaptable nursing care across diverse, fast-paced environments including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Headache units, with a proven ability to rapidly integrate into diverse specialty care settings.

• Assess, implement, and monitor comprehensive patient care plans, meticulously tracking and communicating critical shifts in patient condition to ensure timely interventions and absolute accuracy in executing physician orders.

• Serve as the central care coordinator across multidisciplinary healthcare teams, seamlessly managing patient needs and cross-functional collaboration to optimize outcomes and continuity of care in high-acuity environments

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preference:

• 1 year med surg and telemetry RN experience.
