- Lead and inspire a dedicated clinical team by overseeing hiring, mentorship, and professional development to foster a culture of excellence in Women and Family services.
- Drive operational and fiscal success by managing daily workflows, specialty resources, and unit budgets to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
- Champion patient safety and compliance by developing evidence-based policies and maintaining rigorous monitoring systems that meet all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Elevate the care experience by proactively resolving clinical issues and implementing strategies that boost satisfaction scores for patients, physicians, and associates.
- Shape the future of the unit through strategic oversight of nursing activities, ensuring that staffing and equipment consistently meet the evolving needs of the Labor and Delivery department.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
- 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
- RN Assistant Nurse Manager or RN Supervisory experience
