This 23-bed unit provides short-term care for patients requiring further evaluation, treatment, and diagnosis, with most patients transitioning to admission or discharge within 8–24 hours.

With a wide variety of patient conditions and remote telemetry capabilities, nurses develop strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment where every shift brings something different. Daily collaboration with physicians, case management, therapy, and social work creates a highly team-oriented atmosphere focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
