Registered Nurse - Pain Management - PRN

The Spine Hospital of Louisiana seeks a compassionate, skilled, dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pain Management team. You’ll prepare patients for procedures, assist physicians, and provide attentive nursing care while helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported.

What You’ll Do

• Assess patients, obtain medical histories, and prepare patients for pain management procedures
• Prepare supplies and equipment, maintain an aseptic environment, and assist physicians during procedures
• Administer medications and IV therapies according to physician orders and hospital policies
• Monitor patients, recognize changes in condition or post-injection complications, and respond appropriately
• Provide procedure-specific education and complete pre- and post-procedure calls
• Document patient care accurately and coordinate procedure and clinic scheduling
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safe procedure and patient care areas
• Support departmental teamwork, orientation, and cross-training across perioperative areas
