Help Patients Regain Mobility, Reduce Pain, and Return to the Activities They Love

The Team

At OrthoVirginia, our Interventional Pain Management and Podiatry Procedure Services teams provide advanced, outpatient procedural care designed to improve function, relieve pain, and enhance quality of life. Through minimally invasive pain procedures and specialized podiatric interventions, we help patients achieve the best possible outcomes while avoiding unnecessary hospitalizations or surgeries whenever possible.

Our nurses play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the procedural experience. Working closely with physicians, and clinical support staff, they help ensure excellence in patient assessment, procedural monitoring, recovery care, infection prevention, and instrument sterilization processes.

What You'll Do

At OrthoVirginia, our mission is simple: helping patients regain function, restore mobility, and improve their quality of life. As a Registered Nurse supporting both Interventional Pain Management and Podiatry Procedure Services, you'll serve as a key clinical leader throughout the procedural continuum, from pre-procedure preparation and patient monitoring to post-procedure recovery and sterile instrument processing oversight.

You'll work alongside a highly skilled team of physicians and clinical professionals while building meaningful relationships with patients and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.

  • Collaborate with procedural staff to maintain a safe, organized, and compliant procedure room environment.
  • Oversee and support sterile processing workflows for podiatry instruments, ensuring adherence to manufacturer instructions for use (IFUs), infection prevention standards, and sterilization best practices.
  • Perform quality assurance activities related to instrument decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, and documentation.
  • Support infection prevention efforts through adherence to aseptic technique, sterilization protocols, and environmental cleaning standards.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and assist with patient stabilization when necessary.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
