Nurse-Led Care Coordination: Utilizes an accredited nursing degree to lead multidisciplinary teams, executing and monitoring complex care plans aligned with healthcare protocols.
Clinical Excellence & Versatility: Executes physician orders and monitors patient conditions with the adaptability to support high-acuity environments, including Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Strategic Discharge Planning: Partners with the healthcare team to assess patient needs, ensuring seamless transitions, robust education, and continuity of care.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certification specializing in Chemotherapy preferred.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
