SUMMARY:
Performs nursing functions to support and enhance the medical role in the treatment of consumers for withdrawal management
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor and document physical and behavioral status of consumer and consult with physician/nurse practitioner as necessary.

Provide managed care organizations required clinical information to obtain authorizations in an accurate and timely manner.

Document services provided in a legible, timely, and individualized manner.

Document services provided in accordance with NET, CARF and licensing standards.

Demonstrate knowledge of ASAM, Subutex protocols, withdrawal management, blood alcohol content, accucheck, pregnancy testing and medication management
